Brookdale Guitar Show 2009
The decision to introduce the JF Bass at the Brookdale Guitar show was quick and easy. The challenge was to develop a
message and feel that would resonate as well as the JF Bass. Ann Subervi of Utopia Communications, my Public Relations
consultant got us started by writing a killer press release. The PR piece made it into Bassplayer.com as well as 120 other news
wires around the world. My wife Donna and daughter Melanie spent many late nights working to help create materials and plan
for the event. My son-in-law Dave designed an exceptional website that is continually evolving. Thanks to everyone's
dedication and expertise, we were able to capture the attention and provide a hands-on experience for almost fifty Bass
players that day. We were honored to have such a great mix of seasoned pros, accomplished amateurs and incredibly talented
young musicians playing our basses and sharing their feedback. Thank you all for making this day a success.
